For my friends who will be going on vacation to Pari Island, please keep the environment clean Do not litter.

The beach has many benefits for humans, one of which is as a destination for tourism. The more beautiful beach, more crowded the people who will visit the beach. This allows damage to the environment around the coast.

Plogging in Bintang Beach, Pari Island - Indonesia

Hi Weebers....!!! Back again, this time we do an adaptation of the so called Plogging. Plogging is a combination of jogging and picking up trash as in Swedish language means ‘plocka app’, following the increased concern about plastic pollution.

However we did not jog, instead we just casually walk enjoying our view in Bintang Beach, Pari Island, Indonesia. As where ever we go, we always try to bring positive vibes and impacts, we hope this video will bring the message, to stop littering our beaches.

Unfortunately there are still many scattered plastic waste. It's a shame that a beautiful beach is dirty because of plastic. While walking around beach, member weekendvibers pick up plastic trash for 1 hour, collected 3 large bags.

For my friends who will be going on vacation to Pari Island, please keep the environment clean Do not litter.

The beach has many benefits for humans, one of which is as a destination for tourism. The more beautiful beach, more crowded the people who will visit the beach. This allows damage to the environment around the coast.

Here are some tips that we can do to maintain beach sustainability:

  • Providing enough trash cans and janitors in the beach area. This is to prevent people littering.
  • Add a trash can if it's still lacking Conduct sea reclamation by planting mangrove forests along the coast.
  • Provide sanctions for visitors who litter.
  • Give an appeal with banners around the beach regarding maintaining beach cleanliness
  • Build a nature reserve around the coast, to preserve animals that live on the beach.

There are many more efforts that we can do to preserve the beach, but most importantly we must start from ourselves to learn to love the existing coastal environment. So that we can support and participate in preserving the coastal environment.
